Family Portraits in Cheltenham
Something I think is so important when picking a location to do your family portraits, is space. Especially when younger kids are involved, it’s so wonderful to give them space to explore. It makes it more exciting for them too, which makes for a more enjoyable, more authentic experience. For this session, we walked up to one of my favourite spots in the Cotswolds, just outside of Cheltenham, for family photos. I love the views & how you don’t really have to worry too much about other people being too close by. My approach to photographing families is to gently guide with poses but allow freedom for everyone to be themselves. To allow for genuine moments & connection between everyone. Perfection is never the goal, but real, sweet moments.
